You can do it! So inspiring. Iโve always watched the marathon and thought one day Iโll be a runner. Well Iโm watching it today but Iโve just completed my first 30 minute run, and like you Iโm thinking one day the London marathon will be my challenge, in the next 2 years Iโm aiming to do it ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐
I have also been watching the LM after I came back from a short walk, 14.48 for the first 5Ks with only another 37 kilometers to go at that pace, if not quicker for the last 5K of the run, well done to all of those virtual London Marathon runners including GTFC from this forum.
It's very inspiring isn't it? I have entered the ballot a couple of times with no success and have just entered again this morning....you gotta give it a go, right?๐
It's open until Friday, if your interested??๐๐
Non-charity places for the Virgin London Marathon are via a ballot (basically because so many people want to run it.) You apply via their website and find out a few months later if you have been lucky enough to get a place. It is a lucky dip really - some secure a place the first time they apply, others are unsuccessful year after year!๐
Link to their website is below - what have you got to lose?! Could be the race of a lifetime!๐
Well, you made me dream bigger than I had plans for when I woke up this morning! ๐คญ Iโll be completely petrified too! Hopefully we can be petrified together! ๐ค๐ป
