Just completed W8R1! And you were right, another 3 mins didnβt make that much difference. I did have to change one thing though.
I usually continually run on the path around the perimeter of a big playing field ( with playground and tennis courts within it) itβs not completely flat, there is a slight incline on both sides. However after going round twice it feels like you are climbing up a really steep hill!! So after the 4th time I decided to repeat the only flat part of the path for the last 10 mins. Just couldnβt face going up that great big hill π. I felt like I was cheating - silly really.
Anyway guys I DID IT!! Thanks for keeping the faith π

Once you've got the mental barrier of W5R3 out of the way, then nothing else in the program should faze you.
From W6R2 onwards, it's just a simple nice progression from week to week. Just takes a switch in mentality to enjoy running (jogging!) for a sustained length of time.
It's in Weeks 7, 8 and 9 when you really realise whether you enjoy running or not ...
