I haven't posted before though I have lurked and liked. I got so much hope and encouragement from all the posts here and it was so helpful to know that others had the same difficulty as me with certain runs and motivation - what a great support forum with none of the negativity that affects so much other social media.
Today was Run 3 of week 9 and I was looking forward to graduating as I had done the two 30mins run and had managed about 4.6km which I was more than happy with as I like so many others I struggled doing 90 seconds 9 weeks ago. When I first looked at the distance I assumed it was 4.64km but I was so happy when I realised it was 5.64km and still amazed as I didn't set out to run more quickly. The only difference was I switched music from Disco House (around 121 -126bpm) to Trance (140bpm+). Maybe it was just one of those 'good runs' but I am not complaining at 59 y/o and with 5 stents. . And in case anyone wants the playlist (it won't be to everyone's taste) it's on Spotify:
