Whoever wrote that he/she takes her Losartan at night so as not to affect their exercise stamina is an angel!!! I tried doing that and my stamina issue was hugely improved today! Many thanks!!!

The question is if Losartan affects our breathing negatively why are we all taking it?

It controls our BP!!! Not all of the users are as athletic; not all BP meds work as well. If we can control the time of day that we take it and have it not be an issue, I'm ok with that.

But it can’t be good for our cardiovascular system not to be able to breathe properly. Have you spoken to your doctor about it?

I did; he said that taking it at night is a good idea and he has other patients that do that as well. I don't think he deals with many who are running 5 miles/day about 3 times/week, though!!!

But I’ve had high blood pressure since my thirties. There must be loads of people on it. I want to know physiologically why it makes us short of breath.
