Still looking for ideally 2-3 more participants to help with my undergraduate dissertation. The research is on people's C25K experience and participants will need to fill in a weekly reflective diary and conduct a semi-structured interview after completing the program. I'm looking for people who have either recently started C25K or are no longer than 3-weeks in due to the diary requirements.
If you are willing to participate, send an email to 18123031@students.southwales.ac.uk. I will be greatly appreciative of any participation.
Best wishes all.

If I had signed up for this when I started, your disertation would have had to wait a LONG time....
I have been doing C25k for over a year now and I am on week 5 day 3, because I had been a couch potato for 15 years before this and not 25 anymore. I am sure I am not the only person who is taking it slower and therefore it might be a good idea to change the words 'week' and 'day' to 'level' or 'session', as it can be really 'de-motivational' to still be on 'week 1' 2 months in, even though you are still improving with every attempt.
Having said that, I use the app every time I run (2x week on average) and it helps me keep track of where I am in my session especially when she announces how much longer to go, it really helps even if I repeat the same session 100 times.
(Technical comment: -not sure it it's my phone or the app, but if more people mention it-sometimes the programme cuts out mid-session.)
haha doesn't matter how long it takes as long as you can get there in the end. Good to hear that you are keeping active anyway and using the app to help! And yes i've seen a few comments regarding that issue, hopefully the app developers can sort that out. Thanks for the message, and best of luck with the running!
I don’t fit your criteria but what a great subject for your dissertation. C25k was a life changer for me, with the result of reversing hypertension after many years on medication.
Thankyou for the kind comment, nice to know my research is on something of interest. And that is really good to hear, glad that it's been such a great use for you and hope you continue making great progress!
Regrettably, week 1 run 1 (the third time of starting) for me was back on 23 June, and an actual 5km graduation happened this morning. My first post here was having done W3R3, and I've posted after every run since then.
