I had a second rest day yesterday as my calves had been aching after Sunday's run. This morning was cooler but very blustery, my calves were fine and I decided to go for my run πββοΈ. I was feeling so positive I decided to run for the first time without my comfort blanket of a bottle of water π². I thought I would die if I didn't take a sip of water every few minutes but I was fine! π€£
So I've been lying on the sofa all afternoon with my feet up. It stiffened up and was very painful when I got up just now but got easier when I walked around the house a bit. I'm not really sure if I should rest it or keep it moving? I certainly won't be running for a while. π

Oh no. That's real bad luck. Must admit I choose routes that are traffic free(apart from bicycles) for that reason. Hope to see you back real soonππ
I've taken ibuprofen. I had an elastic bandage on it but just taken it off as ut was a bit tight.
Oh dear, Norfolk Wifey, only just seen this, I hope youβre ok, running on these single track roads is a bit of a health hazard. Howβs your knee doing? My physio brother always says βdonβt run again until you are pain freeβ good advice I think. π€
My knee is improving each day thank you but still very achy when I stand or walk for a time. Going downstairs or down a slope is the worst. I've been going for gentle walks. I won't be running again for at least another couple of weeks and I'm considering finding somewhere safer to run. There are a couple of National Trust parks fairly near me I could try.
