Lol I really don’t know what happened, I’m still under stress from yesterday’s a level results for my son , he’s managed to bag one of his fav uni, but he was shocked to get lower results than expected also one more thing happened today with my bank account today so my mind was not on the run ,it was running else where and I didn’t even realised I finished it . I’m thinking I’ll repeat today’s run tomorrow again to enjoy it. It happens to me while I’m driving as well I end up driving further than my destination sometimes .🤪

Well done with your run today but running on consecutive days is a big NO NO .

You need to take at least one rest day between runs or risk injury

Is it just during the C25K training or does this rule apply for rest of the life that u should take one day rest ? I’m new to running kindly help also I have seen ppl run everyday on my street , that’s a bit confusing .

It is not advised as a new runner to run on consecutive days , and that would be for at least 6 to 12 months running .

Therefore definitely not in this program as mentioned in the program guide .

Everytime you run you make micro tears in your muscles and this takes time to repair , if you were to run every day then you are risking muscle damage that could put you out for weeks or longer .

Thanks I think you are right . I don’t want to stop after all the hard work due to haste.

Absolutely,

There were times in the program when I wanted to run the next day , but I didn't

This program is about gaining strength and stamina without risking injury .

I'm sure you will have worked hard to get this far , don't risk it now , take your rest days , keep hydrated and enjoy the rest of this amazing program ,👍

Don’t repeat a run if you completed it. Trust the programme. And definitely book consecutive run days due 6-12 months. Your legs will be so, so tired. It takes a lot of training to be able to do that. 2 and a half years in and I can manage 3 slow days on the trot. 4 would be pushing it.

Yes that’s right , I think I should follow the program as planned. Thanks for help.
