Consolidation run πββοΈ 5. Stepping Stone:
5 min warm up walk
10 mins 150BPM
15 mins 155BPM
5 mins 160BPM
5 mins cool down walk
Jeez Louise! Itβs super hot out there! The weather threw me off my game today so I dropped my pace massively just so I could focus on completing the run.
Nothing major to report today - no new PRβs and not my best run.
I really struggled with the 150BPM and 155 BPM, more so than last time. It feels like Iβm pushing myself to go super slow which I find uses up more of my gas (over the 25 minutes) to the point that I have hardly any left for the last 5 minutes at 160BPM (a pace I actually prefer!).
My calves and shins are burning up at the slower BPM - much more than when I just run!
Anywho, food for thought and stats for reference.

Yea. Tough today. I found today that coming down the gears so to speak is a bit easier for me if I purposely take shorter steps. Don't know why but it seemed more controlled somehow?? πππ
Well done you - sounded hard work. Def food for thought. I have downloaded these podcasts but not quite ready for them yet! I did CR3 early this morning and that was humid enough, still got our there and did 30 mins so am happy
