New running shoes! ASICS Kayano 26

Eeek these arrived today in time for my graduating run tomorrow, I ordered 2 sizes both feel amazing, supportive and bouncy, I'm guessing I'm better with giving my toes 1cm of room, than having them about a 1 to 2mm from touching the end. Not the best colour for dirt/rain but they didn't have much choice in the sale and I wasn't paying full price😂 can't wait to run in them tomorrow!!

Love those! Yes bigger is better. Once I lost 5 toenails after running in trail shoes that weren’t roomy enough 🤣 some people buy 1.5 sizes bigger. You can use the lock lace technique to keep them stable around the ankle 👍🏽

The way you lose 5 toenails and end telling us with 🤣 blows my mind, that's what they torture you with to find out where the thing is hidden in the spy movie.

They don’t come off there and then 🤣 They gradually grow off over months and there are new ones underneath. Standard runner injury.

I think i understand, but it does sound like they were torn off by the intensity of your running.

Which means if the terrorists catch you and try to get the codes you will be able to take the pain and perhaps pretend to pass out and, having loosened your bonds when they get near to check on you, headbut one, kick another in the crotch and throttle the third with the ropes they had tied you with, or perhaps i overthought this.
