First run W1

Well
Done! X I am glad you got through it I think it’s one of the hardest runs of the programme that first one! X have a rest day tomo and remember to drink plenty 1 1/2 to 2 litres the day before to make sure your legs don’t feel too heavy on run day x good luck and keep us all posted on your achievements!

Hi Rugbygirl76 , well done on your first run!
Don't go tomorrow though, you need a rest day between runs
Happy running!

Do not skip the rest days. They're essential.
Thank you and I will have a rest day tomorrow as you’ve all advised 😊 I have rugby training Wednesday so next run may be Thursday

Yay! Well done. Brilliant. Would echo other's advice about having a rest day in-between. Gives your legs time to recover and build up strength.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
