Running is the gift to myself I never knew I wanted.
That unexpected present at the bottom of the tree with no tag. You’re not even sure if it’s meant for you but you think what the hell I’ll open it anyway even though it might be a box of men’s hankies.
But then you open it and it’s not hankies, it’s something you’ve never had before or even suspected you might ever use but you’ve got it now so you give it a try and suddenly it becomes something you don’t want to live without! Something life changing.
Running is the gift that keeps giving and in so many ways. To celebrate my achievement so far and to act as a visual reminder that ‘I CAN’ I treated myself to an actual gift too, a notch bracelet (see picture - for you Tinytears60 sorry it’s not a great picture! I’m just impressed I worked out how to add a picture 🙈😂)
Thank you to Tipee for the inspiration 😊

Definitely leather and definitely silver for C25k graduate.. its the 5k one i'm torn on but after seeing yours.... i might opt for the same.. if you don't mind...
Thank you for posting a photo of your notch bracelet Foxyblue. I'm so impressed you know how to do that😃
It looks great. I still haven't decided what colour bracelet to go for. I like the black leather. But the fact you can't get it wet, is slightly putting me off.
Did you find they allowed enough room for it to be comfortably loose? From wrist size measurements? Not quite sure what size to order🤔
I love you analogy of running being the Christmas gift, you didnt know you wanted. Your post really resonates with me
I am currently going through, the worst period of my life. And this gift, is pulling me through.
I am thankful every day, that Lockdown gave me the time, to learn to run. Because without it, I would be in a very dark place now. It is indeed life changing. And I am so thankful for my new found ability.
