Iv literally got 3 runs left to reach the end of running 5k! But I’m now back at work after lockdown and I’m feeling so drained and tired after work! Obviously not used to working again! 😳 I’ve been back at work for 3 weeks now but I’m still drained and tired! I’m worried that I won’t be strong enough to complete my 5k! Anyone have as my suggestions?

Go for run and find out.

I run first thing in the morning, before work.......it works for me.

Unfortunately I’m still aching and tired in the morning from work. I work as housekeeping at a holiday park and a waitress twice a week in the evenings

I'm in a similar position , I started work again on the 13th July , I should have graduated c25k on the 22nd if everything had gone to plan but of course it never does and I injured myself on week 8 run 1 . on the 10th

Today was my first day back running (week 8 run 2)

I think for me I will try and get the runs in in the mornings as I know I'll be too tired after work .

During lockdown I ran every other day but will now probably have 2 or more days in-between depending on work.

Wish I'd started this 2 or 3 weeks earlier 😁

On the days or weeks you feel tired I would do one of the previous weeks less intense training programmes. It might help until your energy levels pick up again.
