I graduated back in May, and have done about 25 or so consolidation runs, and it's going really well.
Yesterday I made it to 6k in about 50mins and really enjoyed it.
I started doing the 20, 30 and longer run each week, incorporating nike guided runs. Then I started a plan from the Nike app, it was a bit tough so I swapped to a starters plan 4 weeks, I'm going into week 4 next week. It comprises a session with intervals, then a middle run (3 or 3.5k),
A workout with the nike workout app - which is linked, and then a long run. 1st week long run was 5k, then 5.5 and yesterday 6k.
Next week is also 6k.
I'm finding following the plan very helpful.
And maybe I should try bridge to 10k. As I'm starting to believe I could do it. Although, the Japanese slow jogging also looks nice, maybe one session per week.
My goal now is to get fitter, and ideally lose some weight.
Any tips welcome!
Also the C25K group on strava is very nice.
Hope you are all doing great things and enjoying the running.
I really can't believe I'm now a runner!
Alk the best everyone!
