W5R1 done on a beautiful sunny morning

This programme is really working for me. I used to run on a treadmill at the gym and found it really boring. I also pushed myself to increase my speed and ended up overdoing it. With C25k I’m actually looking forward to running now and the thing that has really worked for me is slow running, as I can get into the scenery and forget about how much longer there is to go. And the encouragement and tips on this site are fantastic.

That’s the magic formula you’ve put your finger on - slow running, and enjoy the scenery. I now love running all over my town, seeing what’s what, going down roads I didn’t know before.
