w4r2 complete on a beautiful sunny morning

Glorious sunny morning for a run round the fields near Sutton Courtenay. Wish I could have stopped to take a picture of the poppies next to the wheatfield against the sunlight, which made up for the disused cooling towers of Didcot Power Station on the other side! It will remain a great memory! Maybe next time I should take a go-pro!

Wonder if I'll be so keen to run if it's piddling with rain?

Also: just checked on Strava - improved distance covered over w4r1 - 3.5 -> 3.8 km. I know it's pretty slow by most standards but definitely an improvement!

Well done 👍 keep going - it's such a good program I'm a week behind you and can't believe I've managed 3 mins!

I imagine it's much like cycling in the rain. Initially you think yuk, but once you're soaked through you don't care anymore! Drying out the sodden trainers isn't so appealing though!

nope drying out soggy trainers is never a nice thing thankfully only drizzle so far this year to contend with but winter is coming (lol) and memories of running in lashing rain isn't appealing

Sounds like a great run and in a good place too :)

Rain.. it can be refreshing... and once you're wet, well, you're wet.. That is how my husband used to encourage me to head out in the winter of 2015, when I graduated..( usually this was offered from the comfort of a warm bed )!!! He was right :)

Do not be thinking at all, of speed or distance at this point.. slow and steady does it...the whole C25K programme is about a slow, steady, structured build up... many have ignored it and have ended up on the IC, or fallen by the wayside:( There is a way to go yet :)
