Return from injury run DONE! πŸ’–πŸƒπŸ’–

Hi I hope you are all well and progressing. I've been resting for over 2 weeks due to slight strain in my right calf muscle.

All good now I think, did my first return run this evening and did 4.33 km in 23 mins. Had to stop due to a stitch, was running too fast in over eagerness!

I've missed this forum, it's good to be backπŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€πŸ˜Š

It's nice that you are back from your injury CM, I was wondering why you hadn't posted anything recently, I do think perhaps if you had ran all of C25K three days a week rather than four, perhaps the injury would not have been so bad, maybe, you can never be sure about that, it's nice to hear from you that you enjoyed your run today πŸƒπŸΎ πŸ‘

Hi Al yes it's good to be back, was starting to get a bit depressed wondering if all the hard work was for nothing.

Will take it easy for a while just light jogs. I've got supports in my trainers and going to buy a proper pair of running trainers.

My goal of 10k is going to take longer than planned but primary objective was always to exercise regularly.

Hope you're keeping well and enjoying your not park runs? πŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸ€

Yes, I am enjoying my (not) parkruns, tomorrow will be my 6th, I am not sure if you noticed, but on Wednesday I ran 10 miles and graduated to have the words 10 miles next to my username on the Marathon and Support page, I ran that 10 miles non stop in around 2 hours and 3 minutes.

Hi - good to hear from you again! I've also been off work a right calf muscle issue - still not quite there yet. Was your calf muscle ok with its first outing?
