You need proper running shoes, they have mesh uppers and are well vented.
One reason I was hesitant to do c25k is that I hate wearing trainers for that very reason, but running shoes are totally different.
Then as I’ve just found out this week.... there are different versions with differing support for your feet.
Depending where you are in the program, you may want to consider going to a proper sports/running shop for advice and the correct shoes. As I’ve put on another thread, I did just that earlier this week and the difference in comfort and fit is amazing. Downside is I also had to spend proper money!

If your feet sweat naturally, as mine do, it's not new trainers you want but good socks to wick the sweat away from your feet. Counter-intuitively synthetic socks may be better than natural fibres.
At the end of a run my socks are soaked but my feet don't feel wet.
To avoid blisters there's also the hiker's trick of layering two pairs of socks: inner thin socks and outer slightly thicker socks.
