Running solo last night as my youngest has decided that there are better things to do of an evening... This had the added bonus of me running my quickest 3k's yet but that meant that my final few minutes were quite literally an uphill struggle. My route sees two separate climbs with a 22 metre elevation gain and I've been able to time my route to see me start the cool down on the final climb back to my front door.

Still felt really good though and could easily have skipped the 3 minute walk in between the runs. My final run of the week will be in Snowdonia and ironically flatter than at home. Really looking forward to it - My breathing and recovery is on a level that I didn't think we be achievable at the end of week 1 and I can honestly say i'm enjoying running.

I'm in danger of becoming a C25K evangelist!!!

From one evangelist to another .... well done! It's a great program that changes lives! 🙂 Well done for ignoring the urge to skip walk breaks and follow the program, too! 👍 Plus, those hills will make you a stronger and faster runner! 💪 Keep going and good luck! 🙂
