Restarted the couch to 5k on Sunday and just completed my second run of week one. I find it tough but I really am determined this time.

I can confirm that week one is hard the first time you do it. I started three times. The third start was easier, possibly because I knew more about what to do, but also because the first two attempts had actually had some benefit.

I have just graduated for the 2nd time, having last done C25k in 2015. Keep going you won't regret it😊

Welcome back to the forum .
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
If it is tough, you may be going too fast. Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.
Slowing down to the recommended easy conversational pace makes it more achievable and for most, more enjoyable.
Enjoy your journey.
