OH MY GOD! That was hard work everyone in here warned me that this run could catch me out and it almost did. Who would of thought running them walking then running again would be harder than running for a straight 20 minutes, post run stretches completed , I don’t think I’m gonna move for the rest of the night 😂😂🤣 now on to run 2!
A few of us nicknamed it the “Biatch Run”. It was the hardest run of the entire program for me. I think it is because when running you get in to a rhythm and it is so much easier to just keep it going than stop / start.
You only have one more interval run left, and then it’s straight running for the final three weeks. And, for me at least, it was a lot easier from that point onwards.
Once I’d managed 20 mins I thought it would get easier too but was so glad to see the back of intervals. Well done for getting through it - one more and then it’s straightforward run/time.
