Why?
1) I’m so chuffed that I actually did it! I did the C25K about 6 years ago ... followed it religiously & then gave up after my graduation run 😔! So that’s an improvement, right?
2) With fear, trepidation, intimidation & many changes of mind (resulting in a very long warm up walk!) I followed the ‘Steppingstones Speed’ podcast ... whilst I agree with most comments that the music is somewhat dodgy ... the beat of it is brilliant. As are the very regular pieces of advice / guidance from Laura. I shaved 18 seconds from my best split time (am I allowed a split time when I’ve only done 4 x 30minute runs?!)
3) Weirdly I didn’t feel pressured to complete it ... so I relaxed into it far more than I have before ...
Yay!!
Looking forward to the other (equally intimidating sounding) steppingstones podcasts!
