I've just finished W7R1 and was wondering what the best things to eat the night before a run are, in your opinions.
I run first thing in the morning after just drinking some water.
Last night I had some chicken, potato and veg and ran relatively comfortably this morning. When I did W6R3, I struggled after eating a can of soup and some crackers the night before.
Thanks in advance!

A good broad diet is always the best thing for any of us and if you meet all your daily recommended nutritional requirements each day, then it should not make that much difference what you ate the night before.
Restedness and hydration (a minimum of 2.5-3 litres of fluid every day, running or not) are probably more likely to impact seriously on your ability.
You shouldn’t need anything specific until you go to half marathon really. Half a banana might be good on the morning and plenty of water the day before.
