Penultimate C25K Run totally knackered!

Well I’ve nearly completed C25K just got 1 more 30 minute run to complete. But I don’t know about anyone else but I feel absolutely shattered after today’s run. Can’t stop yawning feel so tired. Not felt like this before and I found the run hard going today so much so I felt like stopping half way to have a rest. I powered through though to the finish. Does anyone else get days like this?’ 🏃🏼‍♂️😴😴

oh yeah....! I did w9r2 yesterday and it was a stinker. I did have to stop to regroup twice, just 30 seconds or so to organise my breathing, but it was a real toughie. Disappointing, as the first w9 run was a real good 'un. Who knows whats going on! Good luck with your last 30 minutes. I'm off out to do mine tomorrow and hoping its going to be a stunner not a stinker!

Glad I’m not the only one then. I was the same with my W9R1 that was fine but today was tough going. I did change my route today though so maybe that has something to do with it! I’ll keep you posted on how I get on with the final run on Saturday! 😬😬

I'm only on week 4, but i used to run all the time when i was a younger man, and even back then i would get days where i felt like i had 2 lead weights attached to my legs, it just happens and it doesn't mean a thing. Just make sure to give your body some slow burn energy food a few hours before you run but keep it small-ish and push on, you will be fine. best of luck!

Thank you Rutt I’m not going to let it stop me that’s for sure. I’ve never been a runner until I started C25K I still wouldn’t class myself as a runner now, but I’ve enjoyed the challenge and feel proud to have completed the programme on Saturday. 🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🤗👍
