What better than a run along the top of the beach after work? At the moment i can’t think of anything. This was our fastest half hour so far and we enjoyed it so much, Colin ran on ahead, Richard sprinted off and walked a bit, I just jogged along. We were hot and happy when we got back to start so paddled our feet to cool them down before walking back to the car and coming home

I do like this running lark and Richard said it was great fun

Well Colin went off fast and I was puffing away when Richard said this is a bit quicker, we all three grinned all the way there and all the way back lol

Did you go for a paddle as well?

Yes afterwards it was just too much to be by the sea and not go in😀 and our feet were so hot it was bliss to just stand there in the water the tide was going out and there was a nice patch of sand to stand on

My grandson who has just started coming with us suggested that our aim should be to run to splash point have a dip in the pool and run home it’s a bit further than we’ve run so far but i suppose we could walk back

I’d definitely want to walk back after a run and a swim. Next thing you know, he’ll have you training for a triathlon!
