After feeling really ill for one day and recuperating the next, I got myself back out there for consolidation run no 5!
Managed to miss the blue skies ⛅️ first thing in the morning. Then, by the time I was in my running gear, it had started raining 🌧 . And I also had this excuse of my phone 📱 needing charging, so started waiting 🛏 and charging.
I took finally off after 5 min as with a charged phone I had one less excuse.
Glad I did. Everything was wet ☔️ 🍃 but less people 🐕 🚶♂️out, so the pros and cons balance ⚖️ out. My husband had started walking a different route, and our paths crossed half-way! Nice surprise! And he had - mindful person that he is - brought secateurs ✂️ 🌾 to clear the neighbourhood’s (and my) routine route.
Now that’s (running) love! 💕

Brilliant well done you did so well. Onward to next week we go. Still rather in disbelief that I’m doing this. I’m guessing you are the same. Let’s pat ourselves on the back 👍🏻🎉
Absolutely, fellow joggler! 😉 I am still amazed by my own capabilities and am still loving 🥰 how I am discovering all sorts of new things about running, from experiencing new perspectives on the places around me 🍃🌳, new fields 🌾, new streets to new tech, apps 📱and online sites 💻. I haven’t yet needed new dedicated clothes 👖 as I had old but very good tennis shoes 👟 (unused for ca 5 years!) and some old sports leggings. But I fear I will at some point want to also enjoy in the delights of new sportswear. Something to put on the XMas list! A very happy running to you too! 🍀
