So.... At W5R3... Or rather R3 looms ahead. So far so good... But, in common with so many others, 20 mins looks daunting.... Is it?!

Sticking with it π

Not at all!..... I was really apprehensive as it does feel a huge step up.... The reality is.. when you study the numbers it isn't...
But - I approached it with some trepidation!.. I could not believe it was one of my most comfortable runs of them all!...
The plan is preparing you so you will do it!....
I felt the same - so learn from all my unnecessary worrying!.... You have got this!....
Look forward to reading your post run account!....
If you read mine you will see how it felt
Happy running

Trust the program Akfield, take that run slow and steady, once you have completed it you will be very proud of yourself π ππΎ
Slow and steady.... I'm walking faster than I run... But it gets me through!
Talking about runs and walks, I remember a few years ago on a non running day I was out a brisk walk and was aware of two runners ahead of me but realised that I was slowly catching up with them, it was only then that on this forum many people report when running that they are passed by walkers, those two people who I passed were in running mode whereas I was walking briskly, don't worry about speed, you were running, not walking, good luck for run 3 of week 5.

You can do it, the programme has prepared you well ππ»
The sense of achievement you feel from completing this run is amazing. Every run so far has prepared you for this, so trust the plan and enjoy the run!

I'm looking forward to that. Thanks!!

I think you'll be fine. I was surprised at how it actually seemed easier than the first two runs that week and the feeling of elation on completion is worth all the effort. The same holds true for week six. The walking between runs actually seems to make them harder.

Look at it as a stepping stone and not an obstacle. Pace yourself and take your time. Trust in others and in the program. You've got thisππ

Well done on your progress.........look how far you have come!
This breakdown of W5 may help allay any fears healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Thank you, that really does help. I'm going to do it!!! Tomorrow, 6am!!!

Ohhh, me too! Iβm doing it tomorrow - probably late morning as the wind is to drop then where I live. All the best! ππ»ππ»ππ»
