Week 6 Run 2

So, the last of the interval runs, I can't wait until Friday now.

Woke up at 4:30, wide awake and raring to go, well wide awake anyway.

Stayed in bed until 5:30-ish and headed down stairs, read some news, checked a few work emails and then threw on the running gear and jumped on the treadmill.

After Mondays run and the abysmal Garmin Effect score of 1.0 I was definitely going improve on that.

I did the first 10 minute stint at my usual slow pace and then following the 3 minute walk set off on the second 10 minutes at a faster pace which I managed to hold for just over 6 minutes before having to slow to my slow pace, then at the last 60 second mark I went from a slow jog to a fast run.

I'm a happier bunny today for 2 reasons:

1. Friday is the start of the non-stop runs, I can just kick back and relax and enjoy the runs without worrying about the app stalling and me missing a break.

2. My Garmin Effect for today's run was a 3.0

For Friday's run I'm going to go slow and try to keep my HR in Z4 on my Garmin.

Happy running everyone.
