Yay, completed C25K today π. 30 minutes 34 seconds. So pleased I went back to these pods to get back to running regularly. I injured my knee 18 months ago and due to lock down decided to try again. First 2 runs were terrible, then I remembered I used C25K several years ago after bursitis. Canβt thank everyone involved in this program enough! Itβs fantastic, Iβm 63 and thought my running days were over. Now to keep up the good work π

Keep running, keep smiling, said the 64 year old who has just redone the plan after a knee injury........take care.
Thank you, yes itβs not easy, but knee was just the same when not running so thought I might as well try again. I missed my running π
The knee strengthening exercises here nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/k... help build the surrounding muscles and can make a huge difference to all runners.

Thank you. Very pleased with myself though the last 5 mins was tough. I think it will take a while to feel comfortable running for 30mins. π
Yes, I know what you mean about feeling comfortable. The great thing is though, is that you now know you can do it, and youβve proved that to yourself. Iβm sure weβll all have good runs and tough runs going forward, but the important thing is that we keep running! Iβm proud of you, and everyone who takes on, and battles through the physical & mental challenge of C25K, itβs truly inspiring.

Very well done, thatβs a great time too! Iβm 61 so understand how you feel - itβs great that we can still do this, isnβt it? Onwards and upwards!
Congrats π₯³
