Just completed W5 and the 20 minutes were fine. Started so slowly I was practically moon walking, but sped up a little in the middle when I found my pace. Cool bit of wind, perfect running weather. My 13 year old who is doing C25k with me was a star; kept her pace (much quicker than mine) but didn't go too fast. Those of you who have said this is the best run were right. I know future runs may be harder, frustrating, incomplete, but the memory of this one will keep me and my girl going. Thanks W5R3, you are smashing. Thanks to forum for all your advice and support.

Congratulations to you and your girl on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you and your girl have just ran 🏃🏾
Well done! It sounds like you were well prepared for this run; great that you enjoyed it, too. I didn’t have any trouble at all with W6R1, just looked at it as part of the preparation for the next long run and it worked for me.

I loved W5R3, I reckon it was my favourite run of the whole C25K programme. It seems such a big step up from the previous runs, and it felt so great to get it under my belt!
