Did anyone else really miss her?! I graduated a week ago but stupidly walked about 20k the following day, including a slip on a sea wall which ended up in a sore knee, had the week off and got back to it yesterday for my first run as a graduate.
It was weird without the app, I’ll admit without a definitive goal I felt a bit directionless. Tried a new route and decided rather than doing a loop I’d go from point A to B instead, can you imagine my absolute surprise when I got to point B and checked my strava to see it was almost 8k not the 5k I thought - no wonder it took me an hour!
Anyway I’ll set a 30 minute timer next time or maybe just repeat week 9 till I can do 5k in 30 minutes - but that has definitely spurred me on to get on with the 5k to 10k programme. Any advice on how long I should leave it until I start that? Also is this what consolidating is? Sorry to sound stupid I read it all the time on here and only just got the nerve to ask 😂
Thanks!

Yes, consolidation is that time taken to strengthen those running legs before moving on and setting new goals. Here is a link to our June Consolidation Club post where you will find lots of information and another link(!) to post- Couch to 5k running! I am sure you will find it helpful - good luck!
Hi I graduated a couple of weeks ago and since then I've repeated the week 9 run 3 on the app each time (also listening to Laura) and that's really helped me.
Next I'm going to the 5k+ podcasts, which are also by Laura and assist you in your speed, stamina etc. I've listened to one and it's in a similar format as the c25k app.
