After being persuaded by my lovely husband to join him on the c25k journey I have just done r2 wk1. Is it normal to feel sick afterwards?

Why did I do this!!!!
Well done on getting out there! It gets easier!
Welcome to the forum and well done getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.
Enjoy your journey.
IannodaTruffe has given you the advice Take it steady and slow... hydrate well and do not push too hard!
Simply relax. trust the programme and take it at your won pace "...fast enough to get there, slow enough to see..."
Were you running too fast? I have felt slightly nauseous once or twice when moving up to the next level, then someone on this forum posted a link to Japanese Slow Running. I slowed myself right down and was fine after that. It's easier to find your own pace running on your own.
Thanks guys, hubby did ask if I was running too fast, it didn't feel it but maybe I was I'll try slowing down next time. I go in my own so nobody to pace with x
