I set off way too quick, which I paid for toward the end with a bit of stitch. I think maybe because it was a new route I hadn’t done before, that and I hadn’t run since Tuesday cause of the heat.
It was the first time I’d ran around a normal area as well which felt a bit odd, by that I mean normal roads, with footpaths. I think that played on my mind a little cause I didn’t want to lose track of where I was going, also watching my step when approaching junctions.
Overall I’m quite pleased, another 4K in the bag 😊

Another 4k is great! Nice to have the freedom to run where and when you want. We went out this evening, I really enjoyed my run. Should have gone yesterday but had to look after my niece because her baby sister was being born! Missed running but all for a very good reason 😀
😁 I know I was itching to get out!! It's been a crazy week, hence lack of posts 🙈 as it was my daughter's 18th on Wednesday too. We got up super early on Tuesday to beat the heat, then planned to go on Friday first thing (too tired for an early one Thursday after the birthday celebrations, too hot later in the day!) We were in our running gear, about to go out the door when we got the call to go and look after my niece 🙃 That's probably why yesterday's run felt so good, withdrawal symptoms had kicked in 😂 Thanks for the congratulations, she's a little cracker!!
Well done! I've not been out since my first consolidation run last Monday, my hayfever has been really bad but hoping to be out for consolidation run 2 tomorrow 🤞
I did it! CR2 done, not too unhappy with it considering it's been a week since my last run. Just under 4k 😃 Are you following any new podcasts or just running?
Cool, I'm using w9r3 alongside runkeeper and my music, I'm too attached to coach Sanjeev 😂 I might give the stepping stones podcast a try but we'll see.
