W7R2 - another one under my belt!

Had a big battle with the inner whinger in my head this morning who thought it’s too hot, we should go tomorrow. Managed to shut it up with the thought of a whole weekend off and off I went!!

It was a bit of a heavy plod due to the heat but I managed to find my pace and keep putting one foot in front of the other, I even managed to shave 1 sec/km off Wednesday’s time! God knows how and I definitely wasn’t trying to!!

I have a long drawn out hill on my route which looks harmless but feels like a mountain and each run I’m finding it slightly less evil so I must be getting fitter, right????

Hope the next run on Monday is a bit cooler or I’m going to have to use a beach towel as a sweat band!

Good luck with your next runs everyone!

Well done ! Especially silencing that troublesome whinger. I have come to realise that not only does the programme teach you/ helps you find mental strength in terms of achieving the runs, it also makes you learn to ignore those gremlins who whisper negative thoughts and excuses.

Which is pretty amazing 😉

It certainly is.... and I need all the mental strength possible to drag myself out of bed at 5:30 on a Friday morning to go and run 😂
