I’ve started to run now – who would believe?!
The couch to 5K App, but it’s not such a breeze
I’ve followed the training and progressed with each run,
But to be honest I can’t really say it’s been fun
It’s supposed to get easier, but all that I know
Is that I keep being overtaken ‘cos I’m going so slow!
My legs feel so heavy and my calves really scream
But you know what – I’m fitter now than I’ve ever been!
I’m up to week 9 now with just one run left
So, the question is, what am I going to do next?
Well, I’ll keep on with the running and work on my pace
And maybe one day I’ll even enter a race!
So to all of you out there who need a fresh plan
If I can achieve this, then anyone can!
