Oof it was hot out there this morning even at 6 am but I knew I had to get out early or not at all. Hooray for early summer mornings and nobody else being about - that hour made such a difference compared to Monday.
I took it really slowly as I could already feel it was going to be a battle between me and the heat. And the heat was not going to win! So my third 5K under my belt, 37 minutes, not too shabby in the heat. I could literally wring out my headband after! π±
For those about to run... I salute you! Thereβs no way I could do it now π₯΅

Well done, I was out at a similar time for 8.1 - I set no personal bests whatsoever, was happy to complete it thinking I could carry one, Iβve got the 5k in my sights, but still 1.2km short so will be a few weeks after I graduate I think.
Well done Reggit I definitely think even getting out there is an achievement today! I didnβt hit 5K until after a bit of consolidation so keep the faith and donβt worry you will get there! Iβm not bothered about 5K in 30 Iβm just amazed I can do it at all!
Well done for getting out there, I had good intentions to run this morning but an impromptu bbq happened last night which led to a late night which led to a late start this morning, already too hot for me to run in so cutting myself some slack today and will set my alarm for tomorrow morning ππ»ββοΈ
Yay for headbands lol! Holders of a little bit of dignity and awful lot of sweat π€£
Well done on another 5k. Even at 6am its warm....definitely not complaining about summer being here but early mornings are the way forward at the moment πββοΈπ¦
