I cannot believe that today I completed W9 R3. It has been a strange period (as I will detail below) but I would not have been so determined and learned all the important things (like Japanese Slow Jogging, Hydration being essential, the warm up walk needing to push your body to get the oxygen flowing, Stretching being important when you finish and just trusting and believing in the programme to set off with a positive attitude) without all you wonderful people on this forum. I posted occasionally but read other posts avidly. It made me strong....which was good. I had 2 weeks off for Covid between W2 and 3, then I twisted my ankle because I fell down a rabbit hole on W5 R3 but still finished the run. Then I had a week off because my lovely, lovely husband died of a heart attack on 1st June; but he was so proud of me doing this that I got back in gear, delaying my final run until today which is his 78th birthday, and also his cremation at the time I was running. He did not want a funeral so no-one attended but we had a brilliant family socially distanced picnic yesterday on Father's day. My running gives me positivity although I am slow as a snail...I have also done all my runs at Old Sarum in Wiltshire which has the best views ever. Thank you everyone for helping me through. I kind of feel like a runner now!

Hi Trying9,
I just wanted to let you know that I completed W7 R1 this morning and I am dedicating it to you and your lovely husband. I spent my 25 minutes thinking of you and the love, strength and determination that came through in your post and of the life you and your husband shared. Iβve got to say it was my best run so far. Thank you for your inspiration and congratulations on completing the programme. You are an incredible person and your husband must have been so proud to have you in his life. Good luck with your next adventure.πππ
