30 minutes (slow) running

I just completed my first 30 minute run of week 9. It's the second time round for me as I graduated six years ago and then gave up because of foot problems. But my orthotics seem to be working and although I am very slow, at 70 I feel that's ok. I've treated myself to some blue tooth headphones and it makes such a difference not to be constantly trying to push dangling ear pieces back into my ears. I do think this programme is wonderful. I even enjoyed running this morning and was amazed when Laura said I had done it. The structured approach really does build stamina. I found today's 30 minute run easier than the 20 minutes of a few weeks ago. So to anybody starting out - don't worry about it; keep going and you'll get there.

Congratulations on almost completing C25K with run 1 of week 9, good luck for your graduation run, interesting what you say finding the 30 minute run easier than run 3 of week 5, with that run it comes after the previous longest run was 8 minutes then you run for 20 minutes, whereas with run 1 of week 9 you have only increased by 2 minutes from the 3/ 28 minute runs of week 8. 🏃🏾 👍
