So after the successful run the other day despite the slight pain in my hip I thought I would venture into week 3 as I felt the pain fixed itself....I was so wrong I had to stop into the third run in agony.
I guess the plus I can take is I did run for 3 minutes without stopping.
I will come back fighting when I can shift this!

I had the exact same thing at week 5. Did run 1, felt great To the point where I sprinted the final 15 seconds & then carried on & walked about 3 miles to have a warm down. Next day my left hip had completely stiffened up & it was uncomfortable to walk on it. I then stupidly did run 2 & managed to finish it but I was in agony towards the end & afterwards. I then carried on well over a week with me attempting to push through 5-6 mile walks instead of running but it just didn’t improve so I took 3 days off & completely rested it to finally heal it properly. So basically don’t do what I did, put your feet up & let it heal fully before you go out again.
