You CAN do this!!!

I know you can!...

everyone has bad runs... chalk it up to experience.... you’ve come so far!.... don’t dwell on it...

most importantly don’t be disappointed... just put it behind you!.. you posted on here to tell us which means we will be your pillow of support to get you back out there again ... 👏👏👏🏃🏽‍♀️

Does the fact that you posted your decision here mean that you want to be persuaded to change your mind?

Why be disappointed in yourself when with just a bit of application and effort, you can achieve the target of the programme, which you are more than half way through.

Being tired is quite normal, so try an extra rest day or two and keep going.

Make sure that you eat well, drink 2.5-3 litres every day and follow the pacing advice and success is there for the taking.

You can do this.........if you want to.

Its tough isn't it? I'm on week 6 too, never ever thought I'd get here. I struggle a bit... my breathing gets out of control.. so I've tried to learn some coping mechanisms. I listen to podcasts that make me laugh out loud which helps with the breathing, and for me counting down those last bloomin' 60 seconds has really worked (60 seconds my foot... it's longer than the rest of the run put together if you ask me) - sometimes the run finishes before I finish counting, which is great! Find the things that work for you. You've come so far you don't want to give up now, you'd never forgive yourself. Take this one on the chin as a bad ol' day, cut yourself a break, and have a day of rest... you never know, you might find you're itching to go and give it another bash in a couple of days. Good luck... keep going. You can do it. 🤗

It’s ok to have a bad day.... it’s also ok to have a wobble with the program. Goodness me I have. I’ll be honest if my husband wasn’t an avid runner encouraging me this morning I felt the exact same.

Maybe visualise how you will feel when you finish the run, that feeling is what gets me out running.

Put this one behind you, rest and try again another day.

It’s time to have a little chat with yourself, the metal side of things is equally as important as the physical in these latter weeks.

Plan your runs, keep up with the hydration, stretching and take the rest days you think is appropriate for your body.

Commit to putting on trainers and stepping out the door, only you can do this part.

Then each run slow and steady.

Let’s get week 6 complete and look forward to preparing for week 7.

You can do this, the support is here for you in this great community. 👏👏.
