W9 any type 1 diabetics out there?

Gutted as second run this week and had a hypo mid way. Ended up with a walk in the middle of the run waiting for sugar to come back up. Interested to see how other type 1’s manage. First time I’ve had an issue and first one I will redo. ☺️

Sorry to hear that. I have no experience to offer, but am impressed at how calmly and positively you're reacting to this. Hopefully someone with more experience will have more useful advice to offer. All the best for the last runs

Thank you - I’ve been diabetic for over 30 years and don’t let it stop me do anything! I was really cross though as this will be the first run I’ve had to do again!!

I can imagine! Although repeating one run isn't the end of the world in the grand scheme of things, honestly it isn't 😊

Not up to week 9 yet and don’t have experience of diabetes but wanted to message to say look at where you are!!!! Week 9!

That’s brilliant! I know how hard it is to run when I don’t have other factors to consider and I’m only on week 5 so give yourself a big pat on the back... yours takes a lot more planning.

... there are a lot of knowledgeable people on here and I’m sure you will get some advice ... but truly! It’s a bump in the road!... your week 9 road... which you WILL conquer 👏👏👏😀

Aww thank you - it’s certainly been something I never thought I would do. Lockdown was good for me!

Seriously- you’ve done SO well! 👏👏

I hate that you’re gutted with yourself! Way to hard on yourself!... you WILL do it (just not today)

Keep positive - week 9 is still a dream for me 👍🏃🏽‍♀️
