Congratulations you’re nearly halfway through. 👏🏻👏🏻🥳👏🏻👏🏻

Maybe you are poorly, take an extra day off. If not I can only advise to run slower.

Thank you. I felt great, ran at a slow pace, stunned myself actually, was so nervous at first thinking about running for 5 minutes but did it, then only after a few hours got aches all over, will rest up.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Motivation is just about the only thing that we cannot provide.......that has to come from you, but something got you started and I can promise you that if you stick with this you will not regret it.......C25k changes lives, for good.

Enjoy your journey.

Thank you, been amazing myself, as an asthmatic. Fingers crossed I will continue for the rest of my life.

Well done for starting your running journey. Extra rest days when needed and watching water intake work for me and doing some warm-up moves before setting off now I'm on the longer runs. If you've got trouble getting out of the door, try putting on some bouncy music to get you moving, that helps to get me over the threshold. Good luck for your next run.
