My first post. Until now I’ve been just absorbing info from all you wonderful people posting issues and tips!
When I started this back in April, the only thoughts I had on running were coloured by the awful runs from my school days. I certainly could not have run for 30 minutes and could not imagine being able to do so in just two months. However, here I am with one run left to do and having two 30 minute runs under my belt.
I’m not great on running tips really. However, for those just starting, what helped me was keeping hydrated (including on rest days) and the nhs strength and flex podcasts which I did on rest days. Mostly though enjoy the journey. You may not enjoy the actual running part, at least at first (a lot of the time I didn’t!), but the rush you get when you notch up another run is amazing. Keep going!
