W3R1 done, and enjoyed!

Well.... I actually found myself enjoying this run, after so much fear of it. Thank you all for your encouraging words, I definitely think this is a mental battle maybe even more than a physical.

I've found that running first thing is my better time, which helps, and fully committing to this journey makes it even more desirable....

I'm sure I will hit many hurdles and barriers.. But I am at last, determined.

Yay! It's not easy to enjoy the runs in this program because by definition we are constantly pushing ourselves beyond our comfort zone. Having said that, fear has no place here🙂. Really it doesn't. You have nothing to lose, so what is there to fear? You have an opportunity to achieve, go for it and if anything does go wrong, just try again (you wouldn't be the first to redo a run or a week). I feared almost every run when I did C25K the first time. I repeated it last year after a long injury and I enjoyed every minute of it because I was just happy to have the opportunity to run! You're right - there is a big mental challenge, but now you've recognised that you can put those negative thoughts in their place and go out there and smash your runs. Here's to lots more enjoyable weeks 👍
