Didn’t sleep last night too hot. So decided not to upset myself by not being able to complete my run. I have this need to try to run for 25/30 minutes every run or else I feel that I’ve failed. Struggle on a good day to run for 30 minutes so decided not to run today.

I wish I had made such a wise choice... went for a run, only managed 16 minutes and feeling super deflated. Trying not to dwell on it though, as you say the hot nights are making it hard to get proper rest

Yes it’s just too hot to sleep even if you have windows open. There’s no air!! Try not to beat yourself up too much. Give yourself a rest day and try to look forward to Wednesday s run. I know it’s hard to stay positive I really struggle but am trying to make positive decisions about when to run and when not to run. I find it hard to differentiate between the dreaded gremlins and a bad run due to another reason.
