Well it’s my final week with run 1 of week 9 being done shortly, and I’m already planning what to do next..... I’m not putting any pressure on myself, but I want to keep running and stay motivated. I would also like to increase my pace so I can complete the 5K in under 30 minutes. Any hints or tips greatly appreciated. Thanks

Good luck to you for your graduation run, after that you can run several 30 minute consolidation runs then for pace and speed try the Stepping stones podcasts with Laura which are pace, speed and stamina, after that you can do Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan if you want to run a 10K.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I’ll take a look at Laura’s podcast next, followed by Ju Ju’s. I’ve just got back from my run :-). Do you still find running tough or does it get easier with time? Sometimes when I’m around 15 - 20 mins in I could easily give up, but I carry on until the end. I’d love to run regularly for 5 to 10k without feeling I need to stop. It should be easier once I’ve lost another stone and got to my goal weight. thanks, Nick

If you keep to the same distance, I. E. 5K it does get easier, if you wish to run to the 10K distance, run slowly and you should not find running too hard.
