Afternoon run today and it went well, first 10 mins and last 5 mins were tiring but the bit in between was ok 🤣. 6 runs away from completing the programme and although I understand that you dont have to do the full 5K I obviously want to do the best I can, so any suggestions for the next few wks would be appreciated.

I see you have already completed the first run in week 8, so even closer now! You're going great.

Absolutely do NOT worry about distance at graduation. 30 minutes is such an achievement when you look back, and that is what C25K graduation is celebrating. Save something for the consolidation runs that follow, when you're looking for a new goal to keep you motivated.

The first 10 minutes of a run are always hard work! I daresay you've already seen mention of 'the toxic ten'; it doesn't really go away - even with practice - but you do become more accepting of it, you expect it and know that it will get better as you get into your stride. God luck with the last few runs of the programme 🙂
