I reached week 6 run 3 and all was going well. I actually ran 5k on the last run and felt great. Then I got an ankle/tendon injury. Not achilles. Better now after a month of rest, ice then strengthening excercises. Ready to go again. How far back should I go? Week 5 or Week 4? Any thoughts?

The last thing you want to do is aggravate it again. 5k is actually a long way for week 6! Take it easy as you are building up - your running muscles need time to safely strengthen and rushing can set you further back. One option to consider would be to go back to week1. Try it once. If all is OK, move to week 2. Again try it once. Week 3 and week 4 once. Then week 5 runs 1 and 3 perhaps. It gives a more gradual return with the opportunity to spot any issues early. This really is a tiny setback in your overall running journey, tough as it seems patience now will pay long term dividends 😊. Restarting at week 5 may be just fine, but whether it's worth the risk is debatable. Good luck, whatever you decide to do.
Thanks Linda. I did go back to week 3, then 4 and today run 1 of week 5. All good so far. Think I'll continue with run 2 of week 5 and so on. Yes the 5k was a bit of an accident as the app stopped for some reason and I just kept going! Never mind, back to it now. Such a good programme. I do suffer with tendon issues post chemo but I have a good physio. Thanks again for the reply.
