More exercise.....fewer calories.

What is “quick enough?” The NHS recommends a 1-2 pound a week loss, to make it safe and also stay off... 1 is better than 2 as well! New activities cause muscles to build and adapt... this can slow weight loss a little, as the muscle you’re building is denser than the fat you’re burning... sounds like this is the case here as you’re seeing the inches go. It’s not a permanent slowing... and the tape measure is your friend here, the scales only show one bit of the picture. The NHS recommended losses can easily be unseen with either muscle build or better hydration too.
Keep going on both the healthy eating and the running and you’ll reach all your goals.
Well, you're exercising, eating better, and losing the inches. I'd say just keep doing what you're doing, it's all good! (And maybe don't be so hard on yourself? You're doing great 😊🙌)
