This morning I completed W6R1 and I found it quite hard. Not really sure why, as W5R3 was a twenty minute non-stop run. Is it the walking breaks that make it trickier?
Looking forward to run2 now, but hope I can do it more easily.

Congratulations on completing your longest duration workout to date.......it catches many out.
It is mainly down to psychology, in my opinion..........one twenty minute run does not a runner make.
Hi ! Yes, I totally agree about it being psychological- I found myself not even thinking about the twenty minute run much, after ten minutes I was just doing it!
But today the walking breaks threw me off a bit.
I used to be a sprinter and never saw myself as a longer distance runner, but I can see the benefits already. I feel great.
I’m not under any illusions about speed and times. I’m concentrating on stamina and distance, and that’s quite enough for now.
Very happy I started this- it really is great for your mental as well as physical health.
Maybe one day I’ll be able to call myself a runner 🤪
I hope your next run is easier 💕
I completed w6r1 on Monday and felt exactly the same! I found it harder than the 20 minute run and was a bit confused. I think you’re right though it’s the walking breaks.
