I am SO proud of myself today. It’s Week 2 Day 2 and it’s pishing down. I wasn’t going to go. I really wasn’t. But I knew if I didn’t I probably wouldn’t go again. I know how my psyche works and I would have legitimised it and that would have been the end of that. So I went. And I did it. I have to confess, the run bits are still hard but I’m finding my recovery time in between is getting better. I certainly haven’t told Michael to f**k off today when he says “it’s time for your next run”. That’s definitely an improvement. My comfort eating is no better, but I hope that will come with time working from home doesn’t help with that either! Anyway. I kid you not. Last run today and what comes on, no joke, “Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world...... DONT STOP BELIEVING “ 🏃♀️ 💥 💪🏼. #couchto5k
